The Ottawa Ethno-cultural Coalition

The Ottawa Ethno-Cultural Coalition is a group of small and grassroots associations, working together to improve our ability to serve our communities. We represent diverse communities and diverse goals. Some of our associations provide services to their communities such as support, training, activities or recreational opportunities. Others are cultural and arts associations, providing classes and performances to our communities and the wider community.

Each organization participating in the Coalition is unique and has its own strengths and weaknesses. By working together, we can increase our knowledge, abilities, resources and better serve our communities.

Mission

Our mission is to improve communication, cooperation, understanding, mutual support and sharing between small and grassroots ethno-cultural groups and our communities in Ottawa, to enhance our knowledge and resources for providing services and support to our communities.

Our meetings are held the second Friday of every month (unless it is a holiday weekend), from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The location may change from month to month.Click here for the location and topic of the next meeting.
